The jury presided by Nanni Moretti ...]]> With the official award ceremony at the Palais Lumière Salle the 65th edition of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival ended. The jury presided by Nanni Moretti chose the latest work of Michael Haneke, “Amour”, a touching love story between an elderly couple, played by Jean-Louis Trintignanand and Emmanuelle Riva, as the winner of the statue Palme d’Or. For the Austrian director this isn’t his first triumph in Cannes, in 2009 Haneke won the same award for “The White Ribbon”. The Italian cinema was also honored at Cannes this year thanks to the “Reality” by Matteo Garrone, who took home the Grand Prix of the Jury.
